What is Starcrossed? Starcrossed is a revolutionary astrology-based app designed to deepen your connections by revealing the astrological dynamics between you and others, including insights into your potential soulmate’s zodiac chart.

How do I use the Starcrossed app?

Download Starcrossed for free from the iTunes or Google Play stores.
Enter your birth time, date, and location.
Link your phone number for seamless syncing.
Verify your account with the six-digit SMS code — contact us if you encounter any issues.
Add friends to explore your compatibility and receive updates about your soulmate connection. To remove a friend, simply press the button at the bottom of their profile and click “remove.”
Update your profile details anytime under the Settings tab by selecting the detail you wish to edit.

How does Starcrossed work?

At Starcrossed, we utilize advanced astrological data to discover your soulmate's most compatible traits. Each planet in your soulmate’s chart has two potential zodiac sign options. These options are carefully selected based on their astrological compatibility with key aspects of your chart, harnessing a deep synergy in every aspect of your life. This is because certain signs in your chart can have a profound influence on what traits complement you in a relationship, guiding you toward a partner whose astrological attributes align with your own in meaningful ways.

Every time you Cross with a friend, you unlock a piece of you and your soulmate’s journey and receive your friend's zodiac chart and your compatibility. This process provides clear insights into the astrological dynamics that strengthen your relationships, highlighting the traits that define your friendships and dynamics. By understanding these traits through your friends' charts, you deepen your appreciation of the different aspects of your relationships and identify similar qualities in your soulmate. Every time you Cross, you enhance your understanding of your relationships and discover what truly complements you from your life partner!

How does Starcrossed utilize user data? We use your birth details to create personalized astrological content. We respect your privacy and do not access third-party data or track your activity outside the app. We use Amplitude to improve app functionality and user experience.

Does Starcrossed sell user data? No, Starcrossed does not sell your data and we commit to keeping it that way.

How does Starcrossed make money? Starcrossed operates on a freemium model. Some features are free such as horoscopes, but we offer in-app purchases for additional insights and features, such as unlimited “Crossing” and detailed reports.

Where do I find the readings I paid for? All purchased readings and features are available anytime from your Settings tab, and can also be accessed through the Soulmate tab within the app.

How do I delete my account? Navigate to Settings from your profile or updates screen, scroll to the bottom, and tap "delete account."

Can I suggest features? Absolutely! We value your input. Please send any suggestions or comments you have to enhance your experience.

What is "Crossing" in Starcrossed?

"Crossing" is a unique feature in Starcrossed that allows you to physically "bump" phones on iOS with a friend to exchange astrological charts and show compatibility between both of your charts. When you "Cross" with someone, you each receive a detailed compatibility report that explores the dynamic interplay between your planets and zodiac signs, offering deeper insight into your relationship and how you can best support and understand each other.

How does "Crossing" work?

To use the "Crossing" feature, simply open the Starcrossed app and press the 'Cross' tab. This generates a one-time use link with NameDrop on iOS that you can hold close to your friend's phone. When your friend opens the link and completes the Starcrossed onboarding, both of you will instantly receive your astrological compatibility report. It's a great way to connect and learn more about how your stars align!

Can I use the same "Crossing" link with multiple people?

No, each "Crossing" link is designed for one-time use between two individuals. This ensures that each compatibility report is personalized and unique, tailored specifically to the pair involved in that "Crossing." The link expires once it has been used, so it cannot be mass-posted or reused. This feature maintains the privacy and personalization of each astrological exchange. If you want to "Cross" with another friend, you will need to generate a new link for each session. This method ensures that every interaction is special and that your astrological insights remain accurate and meaningful. This includes the Text link and QR code- both are one-time use!

What’s a natal chart? A natal chart is a celestial snapshot of the exact positions of the planets at your time of birth. It reveals the signs and houses in which planets were located, providing insights into various aspects of your personality and life.

What are the houses? Astrological houses represent different areas of your life, from self-image and resources to relationships and career. Each house can provide insights into specific facets of your experiences and traits.
